Owner and designer Chrissa H, the bones behind Primp My Site, has been creating for as long as she can remember. She began using her creative skills professionally at the age of 14, as a plaster sculptor for a small family owned business. After graduating high school, she continued on to work as a full time ceramic artist and later attended college with a major in computer science.
Chrissa has been in the computer industry for over 15 years. After pursuing a degree in computer science, she worked as a software developer in the real estate and insurance industry. In addition, she has held positions in computer networking, hardware repair and help desk.
In 1998, Chrissa started a successful web site offering people who desired to work from home, a place to learn about starting a business, discover work-at-home opportunities, and network with others.
She soon found herself distracted from her online business when she began receiving requests from her colleagues for help with designing their own business sites.
After juggling an online business and moonlighting as a web designer for a little over three years, Chrissa decided to turn her attention to full time web design and development.
She had finally found her calling. Providing both a vehicle to help others live out their dreams of owning a business, while combining her creative arts background and computer expertise. The rest is history. She has been designing and developing ever since.
As a business owner, Chrissa has a lot to offer her business clients and enjoys sharing her experiences and knowledge with them. She is living her dream of operating a web design company and is just as passionate about web design as the day she created her first website. She puts this same passion into every project and often recites her motto, “perfection is never the exception, it’s the rule.”
